About

Corey Giles is the sole owner and operator of Green Connection Electrical & Solar. Corey is born and bred on the Sunshine Coast, which provides him with extensive knowledge of the area, and the surrounding regions. Green Connection services almost the entire southeast coast of Queensland, including Noosa, Gympie, the Sunshine Coast and hinterland, Caloundra, Bribie Island, Caboolture and Brisbane.

With more than 10 years of experience as an electrician, Corey has extensive knowledge in residential electrical work. Completing his apprenticeship in 2016, Corey gained a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (UEE30811). Recently, Corey completed the Qualified Business Person (QBP) and Qualified Technical Person (QTP) courses in January 2022 to gain his Electrical Contractors Licence and enable him to establish Green Connection Electrical & Solar.

Corey became a Clean Energy Council (CEC) accredited installer in 2019 and has installed over 30 solar systems since. In 2018, Corey completed his Certificate II in Split Air-conditioning and Heat Pump Systems (UEE20111).

Prior to this, Corey worked for electrical companies completing mostly residential (new homes, renovations and maintenance) based electrical work, including air-conditioning and solar system installations, enhancing his skillset and making him a specialist in this work.
